Dermaplaning is an excellent technique to deal with the thick white hair that grows on the face of women. There are not many options for this type of hair growth; laser treatment is not effective on white hair, and most people don't enjoy the pain associated with waxing. This is one of the reasons we introduced dermaplaning to our treatments at Tulsa Dermatology.
Dermaplaning rejuvenates the skin by using a sterile blade to remove dead skin as well as any white hairs on the face. It is followed by an enzyme peel, leaving the skin silky smooth with a dewy, moisturized feeling that lasts for days. It is extremely safe and performed by staff who have been certified in the technique.
The hair grows back over a period of 6-8 weeks, but contrary to the myth, it does not grow back any thicker or darker. Dermaplaning has no down time and is perfect to do before an event for fresh glowing skin. If you would like to try this safe and effective procedure, call the office at 918-749-2261.
